Carpenter PositionTradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters for projects located in or around Lynden, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $35/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Construct, install, and repair building frameworks, structures, and fixtures using wood, metal, and other materialsRead and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine project specifications and layout requirementsPerform rough carpentry, including framing walls, floors, partitions, rafters, and doorframesComplete finish carpentry tasks such as installing windows, molding, stairways, cabinetry, siding, and drywallMeasure, cut, shape, and assemble construction materials using hand and power toolsPrepare jobsites by setting up work areas, scaffolding, and safety barriers as neededCalculate material quantities and assist with project planningInspect existing structures and fixtures to identify damage or wear and perform repairs as neededEnsure all work complies with local building codes, project specifications, and safety regulationsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentRequirements:Previous carpentry experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawingsExperience with both rough and finish carpentryProficiency with hand tools and power toolsStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipKnowledge of building codes and safe work practicesMust be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a teamTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.Our comprehensive benefits include:Tradesmen+ Rewards Program – earn points for hours workedVacation PayHealth insurance401(k) retirement savings planTradesmen International is an EO employer - M/F/Veteran/DisabilityBe Safe from fraud!
