Window Installation CarpenterJoin a team dedicated to delivering high-quality window installation services for residential and commercial customers throughout Southern Minnesota. This position is ideal for individuals with construction, carpentry, or window installation experience who take pride in craftsmanship, customer service, and attention to detail.As a Window Installation Carpenter, you will be responsible for removing existing windows, preparing openings, and installing new window systems to meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards. You'll work with a variety of products including vinyl, wood, aluminum, and specialty windows while ensuring installations are weatherproof, secure, and visually appealing.This role combines hands-on carpentry work with customer interaction and offers opportunities to develop your skills while working alongside experienced professionals.What You'll DoRemove old or damaged windows and prepare openings for new installationsInstall vinyl, wood, aluminum, and specialty window productsMeasure, cut, and fit trim, shims, insulation, and framing materialsSeal, caulk, and weatherproof installations to prevent air and water intrusionOperate power tools, hand tools, ladders, and related equipment safelyInspect completed installations for quality, accuracy, and code complianceTroubleshoot installation challenges and make necessary adjustmentsCommunicate professionally with customers regarding project timelines and installation detailsMaintain clean and organized job sites and company vehiclesFollow all company safety policies and OSHA requirementsWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsConstruction or carpentry experienceWindow installation experience preferredStrong finish carpentry and trimming skillsAbility to read measurements accurately and perform detailed installation workExperience using hand tools and power toolsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamStrong commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfactionPreferred QualificationsExperience with framing, finish work, roofing, or concretePrevious construction, outdoor work, or farm experienceComfortable working at heightsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesCompensation & Benefits$20-$30+/hour based on experienceUp to $1,000 retention bonusQuarterly bonus opportunitiesMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off (PTO)Paid holidaysLife insuranceShort-term and long-term disability coverageEmployee product discountsTransportation to and from job sitesCompany-provided apparelCareer advancement opportunitiesWork EnvironmentThis position offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.
