Our work spans hospitality, retail, healthcare, and educational sectors.Position OverviewWe are seeking skilled and experienced Carpenters to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality construction projects. Carpenters will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to layout, framing, formwork, finish carpentry, and general construction activities. This role is essential to maintaining jobsite productivity and craftsmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials using hand and power tools.Layout and build foundations, framing, walls, floors, door and window openings.Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and other finish carpentry elements.Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.Ensure work meets quality standards and project timelines.Collaborate with supervisors and other trades on site to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry required.Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in carpentry construction.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.Physical DemandsAbility to sit and/or stand for extended periods during a regular 8+ hour shiftOccasionally required to stoop, bend, walk, crouch, and climbMust be able to frequently lift at least 25 lbs and carry up to 15 lbsMust be able to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to walk on uneven ground and work at heightsExposure to dust, dirt, grease, noise, and construction-related materialsRequirements – All Applicants Must Be:18 years of age or olderAble to pass a drug testLegally eligible to work in the U.S.Have reliable transportation to and from job sitesWilling to take initiative and solve problems in the fieldWhy Join Dargan Construction?Competitive pay and benefitsPotential for advancementWork with a highly respected local contractorOpportunity to work on diverse and exciting projectsSupportive team environment focused on excellence
