Carpenter PositionEnvironmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our manufacturing shop.Total Rewards:Life InsuranceTuition ReimbursementPaid HolidaysPTOWeekly PayMedical, Dental, Vision, Hospital, Accident, Specified Disease, and Pet Insurance401(k) with Company MatchOnsite Health ClinicApprenticeship ProgramSchedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessaryResponsibilities:Install architectural doors, walls, and trimHandle materialUse power tools (e.g. circular saw, drill, reciprocating saw, etc.)Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policiesWork in a fast-paced team environmentEducation Requirements/Qualifications:Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish requiredMinimum of a high school education or equivalentAt least one year experience in wood or metal carpentryConstruction experience preferredJob Requirements/Special Skills:Ability to read a tape measure, blueprints, and layoutsAbility to work independently and on a teamStrong verbal communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand and work for prolonged periods of timeAbility to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
