Job description
Carpenter ForemanBrasfield & Gorrie is hiring an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead a crew on an active power plant construction project in Cartersville, GA. This is a leadership role for a skilled industrial carpenter ready to supervise crews, manage daily production, and help drive a major industrial build to completion. As Carpenter Foreman, you'll supervise and coordinate a crew of construction carpenters, oversee daily work quality and safety compliance, and serve as the on-site point of accountability for carpentry operations on this industrial project.Carpenter Foreman Job Responsibilities:Supervise, coordinate, and schedule a crew of 3–15 construction carpenters dailyRecord personnel, production, and operational data on required forms/reportsProvide hands-on assistance to crew using hand tools and equipment as neededInspect work progress, equipment, and jobsite conditions to verify safety and confirm specifications are metMaintain strict compliance with jobsite safety protocols in a drug-free workplacePerform physical duties including long periods of stooping, bending, and standingFrequently lift materials weighing up to 70 lbsCarpenter Foreman Qualifications & Experience:3–5 years of industrial/commercial construction foreman experience preferredProven experience managing carpentry crews and/or subcontractors preferredAbility to lift up to 70 lbsAbility to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periodsStrong communication and crew leadership skillsWhy Work at Brasfield & Gorrie:Brasfield & Gorrie is a top-ranked, privately held general contractor with deep experience in power and industrial construction.
