The company designs, produces and showcases custom made product including indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, rugs, textiles, and leathers.
Position Profile
Must have the ability to read and comprehend furniture drawings, and create detailed cut lists. Perform the cutting, joinery, assembly and finish sanding of furniture frames, decorative sofa and chair bases, small tables, consoles, and benches.
Primary Responsibilities
Assembly of products:
Product completion per Production Schedule
Meet all critical dimensions and product characteristics.
Maintain work station clean, organized and safe.
Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.
Maintain the time sheet accurate and on time.
Observe all company policies and standard practices.
Participate on all required continuous improvement activities.
Required Skills
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years previous experience of woodworking.
Reading and understanding drawings, dimensions, views and tolerances.
Proficient using equipment and hand tools such:
Bench saw
Miter saw/Radial saw
Band saw
Planer/Jointer
Electrical tools: Router, screw driver, sander.
Hand tools.
Comfortable working in a fast paced team environment while managing multiple projects.
Strong attention to detail and flawless results.
Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member
