From inception to completion, we believe in creative innovation and utilize advanced technologies to deliver projects on time and on budget.Extraordinary Projects Need Exceptional TalentAs a Carpenter (Non-Union) in the yard/shop at Lunda Construction, reporting to the Yard Manager, you will have the opportunity to:Construct and assemble column formwork, wall formwork, and falseworkFormwork repair and reconstructionAssemble temporary handrails, platforms, and associated appurtenances for construction of heavy highway structuresPerform a variety of tasks involving hand and stationary power toolsRead and decipher plans to measure, cut, and build support structures per engineered drawingsKnowledge of unloading, handling, and forming using dimensional lumberMaintain a clean work area while working with othersPerform other duties as requiredRequirementsOne (1) or more years Carpenter experience preferredAbility to construct from shop drawings or plansWorking knowledge and understanding of hand and stationary power toolsMust be able to work in a team environment or independentlyMust be punctual and demonstrate regular attendanceForklift experience or certification is a plusDuties will include physical activities that require considerable use of the arms and legs, and moving the whole body, such as standing, climbing, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, and handling and lifting of materials, equipment, tools, and machinery weighing up to fifty (50) poundsOur MissionWe build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.Our VisionWe strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
