Our focus is simple: act fast, minimize disruption, and get life back to normal.The Carpenter is responsible for performing skilled carpentry and repair work on residential and commercial restoration projects. This position is based out of our York facility and serves the surrounding areas. Working closely with the Construction Coordinator, the Carpenter completes restoration tasks with a high standard of craftsmanship, efficiency, and attention to detail.Typical responsibilities include drywall installation and finishing, trim and finish carpentry, painting, and other carpentry-related repairs required to restore properties impacted by fire, water, mold, or other losses. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and demonstrate strong alignment with Compleat Restorations' company culture and core values.Key Responsibilities:Perform carpentry and restoration tasks as directed by the Construction CoordinatorDeliver high-quality craftsmanship in all restoration projectsCollaborate with team members and subcontractors for efficient project completionMonitor material usage to maintain quality and minimize wasteOperate company vehicles in compliance with safety policiesSupervise temporary workers and subcontractors as assignedAdhere to all company safety standardsAssist with additional support during major disastersOvertime as requiredPerform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:2+ years of experience in carpentry and restorationValid driver's licenseParticipation in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule for emergency responseAvailability for additional support during major disastersAbility to pass driver and background checksProficiency in: Trim workPaintingDrywall hanging and finishingWork Environment and Physical Demands:Carpenters work on active residential and commercial construction job sites and are subject to the typical hazards associated with construction environments. The employee will work in a variety of conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments, and may be exposed to hot, cold, wet, dusty, dirty, or noisy conditions.A Carpenter must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces for extended periods. The role requires the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and tools weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
