Overview
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has an immediate opening for a Case Assistant in its Pittsburgh office. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of legal or law firm experience.
Requirements:
Strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as close attention to detail.
Computer skills, particularly experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Knowledge of iManage and Milana is a plus.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable multi-tasking in a team-structured setting.
Knowledge of court rules, calendaring, e-filing and filing procedures is a plus.
Responsibilities: File correspondence, pleadings, and other documents.
Index pleadings and other documents.
Communicate with clients, the courts, other counsel, and vendors.
Retrieve files.
Scan documents into iManage system/forward to attorneys and paralegals.
Assist with preparation for trial, arbitration, and mediation.
Distribute all incoming mail/FedEx.
Ensure all outgoing mail is routed in a timely manner.
General office upkeep.
