n nDuties and Responsibilities

nnnDesigns and develops plans for participants, such as determining and assigning work activities, educational and training programs.

n

nnConducts assessments for barriers and skills.

n

nnDetermines eligibility and need for supportive services including child care, transportation, and ancillary services.

n

nnManages participants progress towards achieving goals by creating and updating plans.

n

nnAssists program participants in developing vocational goals.

n

nnMonitors and records clients monthly progress to ensure compliance with program regulations and participant attendance level at assigned work activities.

n

nnNotifies county's human services specialist of non-compliance with work activities.

n

nnFollows procedural requirement by updating client case files in systems.

n

nnMaintains up-to-date knowledge of program procedures and implement appropriately.

n

nnMaintains up-to-date knowledge of community resources, labor market and training resources.

n

nnMaintains in contact with each client placed in employment on a monthly basis.

n

nnCompletes all necessary county paper documents and forms.

n

nnMaintains communication with employment organizations and educational programs where participants are located.

n

nnEnsures all performance metrics are met in achieving participant stated outcomes.

n

nnAbility to perform case management duties with customers in-person and on site.

n

n nRequired Skills

nnnAbility to work with and relate to participants and demonstrate active listening skills.

n

nnDisplay a professional level of empathy for participants and respect for cultural differences.

n

nnAbility to learn specialized databases and software systems.

n

nnExcellent customer relation techniques, and superior verbal and communications skills.

nnExcellent accuracy and attention to detail.

nnAbility to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

nnAbility to recognize and maintain the confidentiality of all materials in the work setting.

nnAbility to establish and maintain professional relationships with federal, state and county agencies as

nnAbility to work independently, requiring minimal supervision and on multiple projects simultaneously.

n nQualifications

nnnAn Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; however, a 2-year degree combined with 2 years of sales/client accounts experience may be considered in lieu of a 4-year degree.

n

nn2 to 4 years of customer relationship management or case management experience.

n nWorking Conditions

nnnMust reside in San Diego County

n

nnThis position requires full-time (Mon-Fri) in-office work, from 8am-5pm.

n

nCompensation:

nCompensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.

nCompensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $22.50 - $26.50. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
