POSTING TO ENROLLED ONEIDA TRIBAL MEMBERS ONLY

Salary: $24.24/hour - Salary is Negotiable (Employees will receive 5% below the negotiated pay rate during their probationary status.)

Responsible To: Program Manager 477

Summary: Accomplish the ONESS 477 objectives by processing applications and providing case management services to federally enrolled tribal members for workforce development programs, such as; Native Employment Works (NEW), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Workforce Innovation Opportunities Act (WIOA), Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), Child Care Development Fund (CCDF), and General Assistance (GA) in accordance with federal and tribal policies and regulations. Ensure that services are provided timely, effectively, and efficiently to clients and members of the community. Accomplish the objectives by interviewing and assessing customer needs to determine initial and ongoing eligibility, co-develop with clients an Individual Success Plan for employment (ISP), and monitor the progress of the client through completion of the employment plan. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants please clearly state how you meet these qualifications on the application/resume.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Counseling, Vocational Rehabilitation, Education or closely related field.

Two (2) years counseling experience.

Two (2) years' experience in intensive case management, interviewing, assessment and determining benefit eligibility for public assistance programs.

Experience in case management with unemployed, underemployed, or at-risk populations.

Knowledge of child growth and development, parent-child relationships, current social and economic conditions and the effect of these conditions on families.

Knowledge of available health and welfare resources and Tribal assistance programs and the ways in which these resources may be available to clients and families.
