Overview
Executive Search Associates is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Work Manager for Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time, day-shift leadership role offers the opportunity to guide a pediatric social work team, strengthen family-centered care, and support children and families throughout the care journey.
Description
The Licensed Clinical Social Work Manager will oversee daily department operations while leading and developing the Pediatric Social Work team. This role works closely with patients, families, physicians, nursing teams, and hospital leadership to improve care coordination, connect families with resources, and promote trauma-informed support.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and support the Pediatric Social Work team.
Oversee daily department operations and staffing.
Coordinate access to hospital and community-based resources.
Promote trauma-informed, family-centered care.
Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and clinical teams.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and performance.
Support professional development and team accountability.
Monitor departmental budgets and financial sustainability.
Collaborate with hospital leadership to improve care delivery and patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications Valid Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker license
Master's degree required; Master of Social Work preferred
3-5 years of supervisory experience
More than 5 years of social work experience preferred
Pediatric or inpatient hospital social work experience strongly preferred
Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills
LCSW Certified Supervisor credential preferred
Valid driver's license
Experience with Epic preferred
