nSalary:
nStarting at $55,500.00 (eligible for overtime pay, on-call stipends, other financial incentives)
nAbout the Position:
nDevelop a supportive relationship with clients and assist children and families in addressing needs and meeting goals with the overall objective of achieving solutions that promote stability and permanency.
nA Typical Day as a Child Welfare Case Manager:
nnCollaborate with clients to gather information on their family's needs
nDevelop a plan with clients to connect them with needed services
nWalk with families and clients through the process of goal setting to help them achieve solutions
nSupport family relationships by coordinating and scheduling family visits
nEngage with families and clients by visiting them in a variety of settings to assess progress towards their goals.
n nLocation :
n2610 W Richwoods Blvd, Peoria IL, including travel and spending time in the field visiting clients' homes, communities, and attending court. This office provides services to the following counties: Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, Mason, and Fulton.
nWork Hours:
nSchedule is flexible and non-traditional; based on the availability of youth and families served. Hybrid work is available based on job duties.
nDoes the Following Apply to You?
nnBachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Service, or related field
nChild Welfare Experience (preferred)
nChild Welfare Licensure (preferred)
n nAdditional Qualifications:
nnCompletion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting
nMust be at least 21 years of age
nObtain an insured vehicle
nAt least three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license
nSuccessful completion of DCFS Foundations Training to obtain Child Welfare Licensure
