Job description
Join our dynamic finance team as a Cash Application & Account Reconciliation Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in optimizing cash flow and supporting financial health. This remote position offers the opportunity to drive process improvements in a fast-paced, hypergrowth environment.
Responsibilities
Efficiently process customer payments through various channels, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Apply cash to open invoices in the ERP system, resolving any discrepancies or exceptions.
Conduct detailed account reconciliations and resolve variances between account balances.
Manage billing disputes and process necessary adjustments with proper documentation.
Prepare and analyze cash application and payment reconciliation reports.
Serve as a power user of the ERP system, identifying opportunities for process optimization.
Skills
Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts receivable, cash application, or account reconciliation.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and pivot tables.
Strong expertise in ERP systems like Workday, NetSuite, or SAP.
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage high transaction volumes with precision.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience with cash application automation platforms.
Familiarity with banking systems and payment API integrations.
Experience in a high-growth or hypergrowth company environment.
