Position Description
Whitecap Search is looking for a motivated individual to join the Cash Management team of a leading alternative investment firm based in Midtown Manhattan. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
Responsibilities
Conduct treasury operational tasks including processing wires for investment fundings and transfers
Assist in liquidity management to ensure funds cover upcoming needs
Manage the opening, closing, and maintenance of Fund bank accounts
Oversee daily cash reconciliations and manage overseas reconciliation team
Liaise with fund administrators, trustees, and auditors
Focus on process improvement and automation of activities
Assist with testing new processes and technologies
Lead special projects and ad hoc analysis
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance or related fields; 2 - 4 years of experience
Strong PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of reconciliations and cash management operations
Ability to manage and organize various project levels
Strong leadership and analytical skills
Problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment
Experience with complex fund structures
Familiarity with FIS/SunGard VPM accounting and Indus Valley Partners' products is a plus
