Automotive Dealership Cashier / ReceptionistThe Automotive Dealership Cashier / Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers and visitors at the dealership. This dual-role position requires professionalism, accuracy, and excellent communication skills. The cashier / Receptionist is responsible for processing customer payments efficiently and accurately, handles phone calls, greets visitors, and supports administrative tasks to ensure smooth front desk operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Front DeskGreet customers and visitors promptly and courteously.Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.Provide information and assistance to customers in person and over the phone.Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk and reception area.Cashier DutiesAccurately process service, parts, and vehicle sales payments.Balance cash drawer and prepare daily cash reports and deposits.Issue receipts, refunds, and change due to customers.Reconcile credit card and cash transactions at the end of the day.Administrative SupportAssist with filing, scanning, and data entry tasks.Maintain appointment schedules for service or sales teams.Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.Support office staff with general clerical duties as needed.QualificationsExperience & EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Prior experience in a cashier, receptionist, or customer service role preferred.Experience in an automotive dealership setting is a plus.Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general computer use.Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Professional appearance and demeanor.Personal AttributesFriendly, courteous, and customer-focused attitude.Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.Team player with a willingness to assist in various administrative tasks.Work Schedule & CompensationSchedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM, with occasional SaturdaysCompensation: Hourly wage, based on experience.Benefits:Medical, Dental, VisionCompetitive Wages401KCompany Paid Life InsuranceShort-Term DisabilityPTOVoluntary Life InsuranceHospital Indemnity InsuranceCritical Illness InsuranceAccident InsurancePaid HolidaysEmployee Discounts
