nPosition Purpose:
nAs a Casual Pool Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within our residential and/or day programs. This is a part-time, flexible, as-needed position, offering you the opportunity to make a difference while tailoring your work schedule to your needs.
nWhat You Will Do:
nnnProvide direct support to individuals with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, etc.) and activities.
n
nnAssist with implementing person-centered plans, promoting independence and individual choices.
n
nnFoster a positive and supportive environment, encouraging social interaction and emotional well-being.
n
nnDocument progress and observations accurately and concisely.
n
nnCollaborate effectively with team members, including direct support professionals, programcoordinators, and supervisors.
n
nnParticipate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
n
n nMinimum Qualifications:
nnnHigh School Diploma OR Equivalence
n
nnValid Driver License and ability to drive an organization vehicle
n
nnAccess to transportation travel locally
n
nnAct 33/34/73 Clearances
n
nnPre-Employment Drug Screen, Physical/TB
n
nnMust successfully pass Department of Public Welfare Medication Training within 90 days of employment
n
n nSchedule: This is a Non-Exempt (hourly) position
nnnMust work a minimum of 4 work shifts per month
n
nnFlexible role where you can pick the shifts that would work best for you.
n
nnAbility to pick up additional shifts if that meets your individual needs.
n
nnThis position will require working rotating shifts, which might include weekends and holidays.
