Base Pay Range
$125,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr

Houston, TX (On-site)
Responsibilities
Develop and lead strategic sourcing strategies for Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) and Capital Expenditure (Capex) categories
Negotiate complex, high-value contracts that balance cost efficiency, reliability, and innovation
Manage supplier performance and build long-term partnerships aligned with Verdant's project and operational goals
Partner with Engineering to advance capital projects through FEL stage gates by driving supplier strategy, cost optimization, and contract execution
Collaborate globally to align category strategies with business priorities and sustainability objectives
Stay ahead of market trends, feedstock dynamics, and regulatory shifts across the specialty chemical and energy sectors
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management, ideally in chemicals, oil & gas, or manufacturing
Strong contract negotiation and financial analysis skills
Experience using SAP, BI tools, and Excel for data-driven decision-making
A proactive, self-directed leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
