Job DescriptionAbout the Role:
Ball Square Cafe & Catering is looking for a reliable, motivated individual to join our growing catering team. This flexible, part-time position is ideal for someone with basic kitchen experience who wants to earn additional income.
Hours vary based on catering orders, with no guaranteed weekly schedule.
Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation, portioning and packaging catering orders.
Support kitchen staff with basic cooking and meal preparation.
Organize catering trays, platters and orders for pickup or delivery.
Assist with catering deliveries, setup and cleanup when needed.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized kitchen.
Requirements:
Basic kitchen or food-service experience preferred.
Dependable, punctual and able to follow instructions.
Comfortable working with kitchen equipment and preparing food.
Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Flexible availability, including occasional mornings and weekends.
ServSafe or allergen certification is a plus.
