Job description
Job Title: Cath Lab Radiological Technologist
Location: Cynthiana, KY
Rate: Up to $3,300 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1
Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts
Contract: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours/week
Requirements:
Cath Lab experience required
Experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
Experience operating X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment
Experience with patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring
Experience maintaining sterile technique and following radiation safety protocols
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Local and travel candidates accepted
Certifications:
ARRT certification required
BLS required
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and other cardiovascular procedures
Operate specialized imaging equipment, including X-ray and fluoroscopy systems
Assist physicians and the cardiovascular team during diagnostic and interventional procedures
Assist with devices such as balloons, stents, and catheters as directed
Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic parameters
Maintain sterile technique and follow radiation safety protocols
Assist with vascular access, EKGs, and cardioversions as needed
