Job description
Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights? Join Jackson HealthPros as a cath lab tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise—while enjoying the excitement of a new location. Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.
What You‘ll Need:
ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
Must have
2 years‘ experience
in a Cath Lab hospital setting
BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
State specific licensing when required
At least 2 years of cath lab experience
BLS (AHA)
Assignment Details:
Shift Hours: 7:30A - 4:00P
Shift Days: Monday through Friday
No weekend requirement
Rotating call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Rotate between scrubbing and circulating procedures, including operating x-ray equipment
Assist with pre and post area, transporting, inventory management, and billing
Experience with Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices is required for this assignment
Work with two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms, McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and the McKesson Hemodynamic System
