Overview
CATH LAB TECHNICIAN
Full-Time, Onsite
Summary: Specialists will provide direct patient care within the Cath Lab and assist with patient prep and recovery. Demonstrate proficiency in performing cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, and permanent pacemaker implants. Familiar with cardiac stress testing, loop recorder implant, and venous ablation procedures. Follow standards set by CVMC, the AACN, CCI and SICP.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care within the Cath Lab and assist with patient prep and recovery.
Perform cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, and permanent pacemaker implants.
Be familiar with cardiac stress testing, loop recorder implantation, and venous ablation procedures.
Follow standards set by CVMC, the AACN, CCI and SICP.
Qualifications
Current CVT, ARRT, or RCIS certification required
1 to 2 years of experience preferred
Must obtain ACLS within 90 days of hire
