Now hiring for a CDI Technician

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule: 2nd and 3rd 2PM to 1030PM | 10P to 630AM

Looking for CDI Technician jobs in Phoenix where attention to detail makes the difference? This role supports production by processing and inspecting precision components, tracking materials, and maintaining accurate records.

Job Duties

Process and inspect precision components according to work instructions.

Check parts for cleanliness, damage, and quality concerns.

Verify part counts, labels, and traceability information.

Update work orders, inspection results, and inventory records.

Report missing materials, damaged parts, and process discrepancies.

Handle and move components carefully while following safety, PPE, and housekeeping requirements.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

Experience inspecting manufactured products using established quality standards and specifications.

Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents.

Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accurately.

Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

6 months to 2 years of previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.

Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial.

Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial.

Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset.

Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a CDI Technician.

Experience with measuring tools, semiconductor components, cleanrooms, inventory systems, or quality inspection is a plus.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.

Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.

Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.

Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.

Must wear required PPE in designated areas.
