About the Position
TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Delivery Driver for a local delivery position in Carol Stream, Illinois. This role offers hourly pay and hands-on freight handling.
Pay & Schedule Details
Pay:
$29 per hour, with OT after 40 Estimated weekly gross: $1,200 Schedule: Monday- Friday 5:30 AM - 5 PM
Job Details
Route type: Local, home daily, no weekends. Freight handling: Heavy touch, pallet jack to load/unload Equipment: All automatic transmission tractor-trailers & box trucks Freight details: Office Supplies and paper products
Key Responsibilities
Operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and professionally on local routes. Deliver freight to designated locations in a timely manner. Perform heavy-touch freight handling as required. Complete required delivery documentation accurately. Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly. Follow all applicable transportation laws and safety procedures.
Minimum Requirements
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. Valid CDL A. Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years. Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
