About the Position TransForce is seeking experienced CDL A Flatbed Drivers to support local operations in Richmond, California. This dedicated opportunity offers consistent local routes, a weekday schedule, and no-touch freight.
Pay & Schedule Pay: $30 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Start time: 5:00 a.m.
Typical shift length: 8 to 10 hours, with occasional longer days based on workload
Hours per week: 40
Employment type: Dedicated
Job Details Route type: Consistent local routes
Freight: Construction materials
Equipment: Pre-loaded flatbed
Handling: No-touch freight
Load securement: Strapping required; no tarping
Work setting: On-site
Key Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes.
Transport construction materials in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
Secure flatbed freight using straps.
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
Perform required job-related handling and securement tasks.
Minimum Requirements Valid CDL A license.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable flatbed driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
