DL-A Local Grocery Driver - $100K + Home Daily | Salem, VA
Earn an average of $100,000 per year hauling dedicated grocery freight in reefer trailers. This local position offers approximately $1,900 weekly , home resets, guaranteed weekly hours, union benefits, and a pension.

Salem, VA - drivers are based in Salem for the dedicated grocery operation.

Average Weekly Pay: $1,900
Average Annual Pay: $100,000
$0.66 per mile
$44 first-stop pay
$27.80 per hour
Guaranteed 44-hour workweek

Job Details
Dedicated grocery account
Reefer trailer operation
Local and regional routes
Assist with an electric pallet jack
First-in, first-out dispatch
Seniority-based route bids twice per year
Shift Details
Home Daily
Minimum 34-hour reset at home
Guaranteed 44-hour workweek
Weekends required
On-call until midnight before scheduled day off
Route schedule based on seniority
Job Requirements
Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
Must be at least 22 years old
No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
FMCSA Clearinghouse profile required
Must meet English language requirements
Clean driving record
DOT Medical Card
No SAP drivers
