Job DescriptionEvening start times, pallet-jack deliveries and a drive home after every shift: that is the work on this Lidl local fleet based in Perryville, MD.
You'll run freight from the Lidl distribution center in Perryville into Pennsylvania, New York (Staten Island) and New Jersey, then bring the truck back to the DC. Expect 10-20 stops per week and an average of 1800 miles per week.
This fleet suits CDL-A drivers who like staying active on the job. You'll load and unload trailers yourself with pallet jacks, and C.R. England's focus on safety training and modern safety equipment backs you up along the way.
Lane Details:
Runs start at the Lidl distribution center in Perryville, MD
Deliveries through Pennsylvania, New York (Staten Island) and New Jersey
Every run returns to the distribution center
10-20 stops per week
Average of 1800 miles per week
Schedule:
Home daily
2 consecutive days off
Operation runs 7 days a week
Start times range from 6:00pm to 1:00am
The Work:
Hands-on freight: you load and unload trailers with pallet jacks
Trucks stay at the facility, so you commute to and from work
A good fit if you want to keep moving during your shift
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL
21 years of age or older
3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience
Reliable transportation to commute to and from work
Must be able to pull 75lbs
This lane is not suitable for students, recent grads, or trainees
