$2,500 Sign On Bonus

Job Overview
ADM Trucking, Inc is hiring experienced Over-the-Road (OTR) Class A CDL Tanker Drivers based out of Effingham, IL. This position requires a Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement at time of hire and the ability to obtain a Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsement within 60 days.
As a food-grade transportation carrier, we prioritize safety, regulatory compliance, and on-time delivery. Drivers are responsible for long-haul route planning, safe equipment operation, and adherence to all federal and company safety standards.

- Earn $56,658.56 - $128,064.04 a year

Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles including:
- Semi-trucks
- Tank trailers
- Dry van trailers
- Pneumatic trailers
- Intermodal equipment
- Flatbeds
- Safely load and unload food-grade products following company and customer procedures
- Plan routes including:
- Fuel stops
- DOT-compliant breaks
- Customer appointments
- Weather and traffic conditions
- Construction and detours
- Drive in both city and rural environments
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Sit for extended periods while safely operating equipment
- Maintain accurate logs and compliance documentation
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement
- Ability to obtain HazMat endorsement within 60 days of hire
- Minimum 12 months of verifiable OTR or local driving experience within the past 7 years
- No more than:
- 1 chargeable accident in the past 3 years
- 1 moving violation in the past 3 years
- 3 employers in the past 3 years
- Successful completion of:
- DOT pre-employment drug screen
- DOT physical
- Background check
- Functional capacity testing
Candidates not meeting these criteria may be considered subject to management approval.
