JRayl Transport, Inc. is hiring CDL A Regional Dry Van Drivers in Akron, OH, home weekends! JRayl is a large, asset-based logistics company that has been family owned and operated for 35 years. Founders Tim Rayl and Jim St. John began the company with only five trucks on a small private farm in Akron, OH. Since its humble beginnings, JRayl has grown tremendously but still maintains a focus of creating a unique family environment for their CDL Class A Truck Drivers. Compensation: Average weekly pay: $1,500 Base up 55-60 CPM with an average of 2,400-2,800 miles weekly Pay based on experience & performance Bonuses Military Veteran bonus 2 CPM Safety Bonus: $250 per quarter with no violations Safety Bonus: NO VIOLATION inspections Level 1: $500, Level 2: $250, Level 3: $100 Referral Bonus: $1,250 paid out after referral runs their first load After 90 days of employment Extra $0.25 for every mile over 10,000 in a month paid out the following March Paid via direct deposit weekly (2 week hold back) Perks & Benefits: Great company benefits starting 1st of the month following 60 days of employment Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, and Company Paid Long Term Disability & Life Insurance Prescription Drug Coverage Life Insurance Disability Insurance 401K with 50% company match up to 4% 4 Paid Company Holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas Paid Time Off Accrued Evenly over calendar year (5 Days at Start of the Year) January, February 5 days March, April 4 days May, June, July 3 days August, September 2 days October, November 1 day December 0 days Tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 & mentor program Paid 6 week finishing program for new grads Paid training and paid orientation ($200/day) Orientation at each terminal Fuel Cards Rider program: Spouse and children 10+ years of age Adults & legal guardian of child 10+ (Takes effect after 90 days of employment + 1 year experience) No Slip seating Home Time, Route & Schedule Home Time: Home Every Weekend Schedule: Sunday through Friday (5.5 days week). Home every weekend Flexible schedule available (Ex: M-F or T-Sat) Route: Varies by customer Level of Touch: All No Touch Freight Equipment 2020 or newer International/Kenworth Packard (Kenworth) S13 Engine/T14 Transmission (International) Inverters in all trucks Samsara ELD Heaters/Double Bunks Governed speed: 68 mph Long Haul 75 mphQualifications Must have valid CDL A License Must be at least 21 years of age Must have a minimum of 12 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record within last 12 months (no more than 2 violations) Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen Hiring Radius: Preferred within 50 miles of Akron, OH or be willing to relocate for this position JRayl Transport has over 350 tractors, 1,400 trailers and over 350 employees covering the eastern United States with locations in Ohio, Indiana, Texas and Virginia.
