Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a CDL A Truck Driver, based in Passaic NJ. with some responsibilities include operating a commercial vehicle safely, completing local and regional routes, and ensuring timely pickup and delivery of freight. The driver will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs and documentation, and follow all DOT and company safety standards. The role also involves coordinating with dispatch, communicating route updates, and handling basic cargo checks such as securing loads and verifying shipment information. The CDL A Truck Driver is expected to represent the company professionally with customers and the public, and to participate in periodic remote or in-person safety and compliance training.
Qualifications
Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and familiarity with DOT regulations
Experience operating tractor-trailers or similar commercial vehicles, including safe maneuvering, backing, and highway driving
Ability to perform vehicle inspections, basic troubleshooting, and follow safety procedures for cargo handling
Strong time management, xzgxqkn route planning, and documentation skills, including use of electronic logs or mobile dispatch systems
Effective communication skills for working with dispatch, customers, and team members, both on the road and from home
Reliable, safety-focused work habits, with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules
Willingness to comply with drug and alcohol testing requirements and maintain all necessary medical certifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred;
prior experience in freight, logistics, or regional trucking is an advantage
