Job DescriptionThe rail ramp at 5200 Joliet Road in McCook, IL is where every dispatch on this intermodal fleet starts and ends. Most of your work stays within a 65-mile radius of the ramp, with a mix of live load and drop and hook freight across multiple dispatches per shift.
You drive a day cab, and tractors leave and return to the yard daily. Some dispatches run longer, up to 500-600 miles round trip, including regional runs into OH, MI, KY, IA and WI.
Truck Driver Lane Details:
Multiple dispatches in a typical shift
Mix of live load and drop and hook freight
Average dispatch within a 65-mile radius of the rail ramp
Some dispatches up to 500-600 miles round trip
Regional runs into OH, MI, KY, IA and WI mean a layover at least once per week
Truck Driver Schedule:
Home daily with 2 consecutive days off
Typically 10-12 hours per day, 5 days a week
Optional 6th day available
CDL-A Driver Equipment:
Day cab tractors
You will need your own transportation to and from the yard in McCook, IL

Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL
21 years of age or older
3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience
