Job description
Your week starts at the Walmart Distribution Center in Shafter, CA, with no-touch loads bound for stores across California and Nevada. Loads run 1 to 5 stops, sometimes with a backhaul into the DC.
Drivers on this fleet average 1,700 miles per week. You get a 34-hour reset weekly, and there's a chance to get home mid-week too.
Lane Details:
Freight originates at the Walmart DC in Shafter, CA
Deliveries to various locations throughout CA and NV
No-touch freight
1 to 5 stops per load, with a possible backhaul into the DC
Schedule:
Shifts start between 3pm and 9pm
34-hour reset weekly
Linehaul drivers are typically off 34-48 hours per week
Possibility of getting home mid-week
Equipment:
Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions
53' dry van and reefer trailers
Trucks park at the Shafter Walmart DC: 2701 Driver Road, Shafter CA 93263
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL
21 years of age or older
3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience
Reliable transportation to commute to and from work
This lane is not suitable for students, recent grads, or trainees
