Owner/Operator CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Driver | 70% Linehaul + Fuel Surcharge | Grand Rapids, MIPropane & Butane Division (UN1075) | Michigan • Indiana • IllinoisDave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is hiring experienced CDL-A Hazmat Tanker Owner/Operators in the Grand Rapids / Southwest Michigan region for specialized propane and butane transportation throughout Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and surrounding regional markets.If you own the truck and have the qualifications, DHT has the freight.Bring your equipment and experience to an established carrier offering 70% of linehaul, fuel surcharge, year-round hauling opportunities, experienced dispatch, and established customer relationships.Owner/Operator Compensation70% of linehaulFuel surchargeWeekly settlementsConsistent propane and butane freightYear-round hauling opportunitiesEstablished customer baseProfessional dispatch and operational supportActual Owner/Operator revenue varies based on loads, routes, availability, seasonal demand, operating expenses, and other factors.Specialized Freight. Established Operation.Propane and butane transportation isn't general freight.DHT has more than 40 years of transportation experience and operates a specialized propane fleet throughout Michigan and surrounding regional markets.Our operation includes equipment ranging through specialized 160,000 lb multi-axle Jumbo propane transports. As a DHT Owner/Operator, you'll bring your own qualified equipment into an established operation built around specialized tanker transportation.What You'll DoTransport propane and butane (UN1075) throughout Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and surrounding regional marketsSafely load and unload product using appropriate pumping equipmentPerform required pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsMaintain accurate ELDs and shipping documentationProperly maintain hoses, valves, placards, and tanker equipmentMaintain equipment in accordance with applicable DOT and safety requirementsProvide professional service to DHT customersMeet DHT safety and operating standardsQualificationsValid Class A CDLHazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements required; combined X endorsement accepted1–2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience preferredPropane, LPG, anhydrous ammonia, refined fuel, or other bulk liquid/gas hauling experience strongly preferredMust meet applicable DOT qualification requirementsAbility to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to lift up to 75 poundsOwner/Operator equipment must meet applicable DHT, DOT, and regulatory requirementsYour Truck Should Be Working for Your BusinessYou're already paying for the truck.Put it behind specialized freight, established customers, experienced dispatch, 70% of linehaul, and fuel surcharge.DHT is looking for professional Owner/Operators interested in building a long-term working relationship—not simply chasing the next load.Military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.Apply TodayApply online at dht-inc.com/employmentYour Truck.
