At CHS, we are creating connections to empower agriculture.SummaryCHS in Rosemount, MN is looking for a Hazmat Truck Driver to join our team. This individual would be responsible for hauling propane, fuel, crude soy, and lubricants to our customers in a safe and timely fashion. This is a M-F home daily role with Saturday work as needed during spring and fall busy seasons. The ideal candidate would have their Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements and 2+ years of tractor trailer experience. This position is eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus as well as driver safety bonuses (up to $6,000 per year). Join our team today!ResponsibilitiesSafely transport and deliver hazardous materials to customer locations using a semi-tractor and trailer and or bobtail truck in a safe, compliant manner, and timely mannerLoad and unload products by connecting/disconnecting loading arms and hoses;
follow all hazardous material handling and transfer safety proceduresDeliver professional, customer-focused service during pickups and deliveries, and coordinate with internal teams as neededPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections;
report equipment issues, maintenance needs, incidents, or near misses promptly. Perform interior maintenance and upkeep as neededPrepare delivery documentation and daily load/unload reports;
record accurate electronic logsComply with DOT regulations and company policies for safe driving, including route and hazard awareness. Immediately notify leadership of incidents, near misses, spills/releases, or safety concernsPerform additioanl duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (required)Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route)Valid Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required2+ years of verifiable CDL driving experience Must meet age requirement Ability to read, write, and communicate in EnglishDemonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accurately.Additional QualificationsDemonstrated experience hauling hazardous materialsDemonstrated safety performance and consistent adherence to procedures in hazardous materials operations.Demonstrated customer service and communication skills;
interact professionallywith internal teams and customers.Demonstrated experience completing tanker product transfers (loading/unloading) and related documentation in a regulated environment.Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.
