Job description
Front-End Drivers operate front-end trucks that provide services to a variety of multi-family residential and commercial routes removing and transporting waste or recyclables in fulfillment of customer contracts. This position will service multiple customers per day according to assigned routes. The waste will then need to be transferred to the appropriate station, landfill or drop-off location.

Key Responsibilities
Operate commercial front-load trucks along designated commercial and multi-family residential routes to collect solid waste or recyclables.
Transport collected waste safely to transfer stations, landfills, or designated drop-off locations.
Open container enclosures/gates and roll 3–4 yard containers into position for dumping as needed.
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections daily and complete required vehicle condition reports.
Maintain clean customer sites by cleaning up any loose trash spilled during the dumping process.
Safely maneuver trucks in tight or low-clearance spaces using mirrors and backing procedures.
Interact courteously with customers and the general public while representing the company positively.
Adhere strictly to all local, state, federal, and company safety rules, standard operating procedures, and lock-out/tag-out rules.
Requirements
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Minimum of 1 year of commercial truck driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
Ability to demonstrate safe truck operation and equipment handling.
Must meet safety-sensitive criteria according to company standards.
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally push up to 300 lbs on castors.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
