This full-time role is based in the Grand Forks, ND, area, delivering refined fuels and gas to CHS customer locations.*This role is eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus. Join a supportive team that values your expertise and offers exciting growth opportunities.Join our driving team and see just how far your career can take you.Compensation DataThis position offers a starting pay rate of $28.26 per hour, plus mileage at $0.5483 per mile ResponsibilitiesOperate a semi-tractor and tanker trailer to deliver hazardous energy-grade materials to customer sites in a safe, compliant manner.Comply with DOT regulations and company policies for safe driving, including route and hazard awareness.Load and unload products by connecting/disconnecting loading arms and hoses; follow all hazardous material handling and transfer safety procedures.Deliver professional, customer-focused service during pickups and deliveries, coordinate with customers and internal teams.Prepare delivery documentation and daily load/unload reports; submit maintenance reports and escalate repair needs and equipment issues promptly.Immediately notify leadership of incidents, near misses, spills/releases, or safety concerns; Support related tasks such as equipment hookups, site readiness checks, and assigned dutiesMinimum Qualifications (required)Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route)Valid Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required2+ years of verifiable CDL driving experience Must meet age requirement Ability to read, write, and communicate in EnglishDemonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accurately.Additional QualificationsDemonstrated experience hauling hazardous materialsDemonstrated safety performance and consistent adherence to procedures in hazardous materials operations.Demonstrated customer service and communication skills; interact professionallywith internal teams and customers.Demonstrated experience completing tanker product transfers (loading/unloading) and related documentation in a regulated environment.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to safely climb in and out of truck cabs and to the top of a tanker trailerAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions; travel and time away from home as required by the scheduleAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in environments with regular exposure to hazardous materials.Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
