Description/n

/n Live haul drivers hold a Class A CDL transporting birds between poultry farms and processing plants allowing for local, home-daily routes. This position typically works 12-14 hours a night and earns approximately $2,000/weekly. Typical shift start time is 8 pm to midnight. /n
/n
/n
/n
- Comply with the Department of Transportation (DOT) safety rules and regulations, Company policies and local, state and federal policies, laws and procedures.
/n
- Transport live birds from the farm to the plant.
/n
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure load is secured properly.
/n
- Complete required documentation.
/n
- Maintain truck cleanliness.
/n
- Any other relevant duties to the job.

Requirements/n
/n
/n Class A Commercial Driver's License required. 1+ year(s) of verifiable commercial driving experience required. Clean motor vehicle driving record required./n
/n
Physical Requirements/n
/n
/n
/n
- Sit and drive for up to 10 hours.
/n
- Regularly climb in and out of truck cab throughout shift.
/n
- Work in outside environment (including inclement weather) on a daily basis.
/n
- Occasionally lift 50+ lbs.
/n
- Work around raw, live animal odors.
/n
/n
/n
