Richmond, Virginia - $24.50-$28/Hr - Full-Time
Harris Jr Transporter, LLC is hiring CDL-A drivers to operate regional dedicated Amazon Freight routes out of Richmond, Va. As a small minority owned business backed by the consistency and technology of Amazon, we offer drivers steady freight volume, new-model equipment, overtime and opportunities to advance their careers. Compensation: Starting between $24.50- $28/hour based on experience/qualifications with benefits and bonus eligibility, "OVERTIME AVAILABLE"
Bonus Eligibility: $500 sign-on/safety/performance bonus, referral bonus, and clean DOT inspection incentive
Schedule: Consistent weekly schedule, topically 4 days on/4 days off- Run Solo 2 routes designed to return home every other day - these are single runs and NOT team runs
Estimated Start Date: 10-15 days after completing OFFER LETTER
Equipment: Brand-new Amazon-branded sleeper tractors with professional driver support equipment
Freight: 100% no-touch Amazon freight
Employment: W-2 position with Harris Jr Transporter, LLC. You will not be employed by Amazon.
Harris Jr. Transporter, LLC, an Amazon Freight Partner based in Richmond, Va., is hiring full-time and part-time Class A CDL drivers for dedicated Amazon freight routes.
This position is built for professional drivers who want steady work, home-next-day routes, no-touch freight, reliable dispatch support, and a company that values safety, professionalism, and respect. This is a structured Amazon freight operation - not a random OTR job.
HJT, LLC is a local transportation company with the support and structure of Amazon's official freight network. To enhance our HJT, LLC drivers' onboarding and sustained experience, our commitment to driver safety and compliance is backed by our use of J. J. Keller Professional Services. Drivers operate Amazon-branded equipment while working directly for Harris Jr Transporter, LLC.

What You'll Do
Haul Amazon freight on dedicated regional routes
Drive brand-new Amazon-branded sleeper tractors
Run Solo 2 routes designed to return home every other day - these are single runs and NOT team runs
Operate 100% no-touch freight
Work a minimum of 40 scheduled hours per week, with opportunities for additional shifts and overtime when available
Communicate with dispatch and follow Amazon Relay, DOT, yard, and safety procedures
Help HJT, LLC deliver safe, secure, professional, and on-time service every run

Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid Class A CDL
Must pass DOT physical
Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Must successfully pass background and driver qualification review
No current CDL suspension or revocation
Clean MVR and acceptable driving record
Must be able to speak, read, and write English as required by DOT/FMCSA regulations
Must be able to use handheld technology, smartphone applications, GPS, and Amazon Relay
Must be safety-minded, dependable, professional, and willing to follow dispatch, yard, DOT, and customer procedures
6 plus months of experience preferred
HJT, LLC Driver Expectations
Show up early and on time for load assignments
Run safely and professionally without incident or accident
Communicate early with the HJT, LLC dispatch
Protect your logs, equipment, and safety record
Follow Amazon Relay and yard procedures exactly and on time
Respect tractors, trailers, fuel cards, technology, and company property
Take pride in doing the job right
