Job description
The Service Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of propane systems to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. This role includes installing, maintaining, and repairing propane systems and related equipment, while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and providing excellent customer service.

n Schedule: Standard schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Occasional weekends, on-call shifts, and overtime available. Extended hours typical during busy season of October to March.
Qualifications
nnLicensing and Certifications : Class B CDL
nEndorsements (Preferred): Tanker/HaZmat
nSkills and Experience :nnExperience in propane delivery, installation, or a related field is a plus.
nStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
nAbility to work independently and manage time effectively.

n nnPhysical Requirements :nnAbility to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
nGood manual dexterity and ability to use hand and power tools.

n Core Duties/Key Responsibilities
nnDelivery and Transportation: nnSafely operate a propane delivery truck in compliance with DOT regulations.
nDeliver propane to customers as scheduled, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
nHandle, load, and unload propane tanks and cylinders, ensuring secure and safe transportation.

nInstallation and Maintenance :nnInstall propane tanks, gas lines, and related equipment at customer sites.
nConduct routine maintenance, safety inspections, and repairs on propane systems and equipment.
nPerform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of propane systems, including tanks, regulators, meters, and appliances.

nSafety and Compliance :nnConduct leak tests, pressure checks, and safety inspections to ensure system integrity and functionality.
nMaintain accurate records of deliveries, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
nFollow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure safe handling of propane and prevent accidents.

nCustomer Service :nnInteract with customers to explain the operation and maintenance of propane systems.
nAddress customer inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective solutions.
nProvide emergency services and on-call support as needed.
