Accounting Specialist – Client Directed ServicesMankato, MN | Hybrid | Full-Time | Day Hours Starting Pay: $ /hour Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Must reside in MinnesotaJoin MRCI Client Directed Services and make a difference in your community!We're seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist who enjoys working with others, can problem-solve with common sense, and brings a sense of humor to the workplace. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Mankato, MN, offering daytime hours and a supportive work environment.What You'll Do:Maintain accounting functions for the Client Directed Services (CDS) programCollect and manage data using Excel and accounting softwareMonitor spending plans and process timesheets and claimsSubmit accurate monthly billing to funding sourcesCommunicate budget details to stakeholdersFile accounting and payroll recordsEnsure confidentiality of sensitive informationWhat We're Looking For:High School Diploma + 3–5 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree + 1 year of experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting softwareStrong math and basic accounting skillsAbility to work independently and follow directionsExcellent customer service and communication skillsMust pass a MN Department of Human Services background checkPerks & Benefits:No nights, weekends, or holidays!12 Paid Holidays + 10 Vacation Days + 10 Sick DaysHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance403(b) Retirement Plan with Company MatchHealth Savings Account (HSA) with Company MatchCompany-paid access to mental health support, including counseling, legal, and financial resourcesMRCI is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
