Direct Support Professional (DSP)Bay-CSS is looking for a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Annapolis, MD. The ideal candidate will provide care and support to individuals with disabilities in a Community Developmental Services (CDS) setting. It is essential that the DSP has a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and car insurance, as they may assist with transportation. The position entails Monday to Friday shifts from 8 am to 4 pm, with potential variations in hours due to transportation needs, offering a rate of $21 per hour.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience working with individuals with disabilities preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate and patient attitudeAbility to lift at least 50lbsMust pass a background checkWillingness to attend and complete all required trainingResponsibilities:Assist individuals with disabilities with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparationProvide companionship and emotional supportImplement and adhere to individualized care plansMonitor individuals' progress and behaviors, documenting as necessaryCollaborate with healthcare professionals and family members as neededIf you are a caring individual with the necessary qualifications and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this fulfilling opportunity.
