Job TitleOperationsResponsibilities3rd Shift works Monday through Friday from 11:00pm to 7:00am.Essential functions (duties) of the job:Correctly wand onto the shop floor data system for laborRead and follow appropriate product criteria, activity instruction's, and elementsFollow all safety precautions as spelled out in the Activity InstructionUse of appropriate equipment/tools (Press, Pill Heater, Belt Sander, Anneal Bake Oven, Ring Press, CNC Machines, Burr Gun, Ultra Max, Hand Tools)Form and finish cores per Activity instruction and product criteriaLoad anneal bake setters per product criteria, if requiredLoad and unload anneal bake oven, if requiredUnderstanding of loading and operation of CNC machinesResponsible for visual and dimensional quality of green cores (gauge cores)Visually inspect cores for unacceptable defects per the product criteria or activity instructionCorrectly wand lot travelers and scrap after each tray and take cores to kiln truckFill out OEE sheetsMaintain clean work area and perform TPM per schedulePerform pre-shift die inspection and TPM checklistObserve safety policies and regulationsMaintain high attendance recordBasic understanding of the use of dial calipers, micrometers and pin gaugesUnderstand use of the HCS 'Help Chain'Maintain pacing via Aussie Pace SystemPerform Problem Solving with LeadershipPerform other duties as directed by LeadershipQualificationsHigh School diploma or GED equivalencyThree (3) months' on-the-job training to fulfill introductory periodSix (6) months' experience to be eligible for certified operator statusAbility to read and comprehend written instructionsMental and visual attentionPerform to productivity and quality standardsAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentAbility to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds consistentlyEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
