Concrete Finisher$23/hr + depending on experience Travel: Primarily throughout LouisianaJob SummaryExpress Employment Professionals – Downtown Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher / Form Carpenter for a full-time opportunity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience forming, pouring, and finishing concrete flatwork and walls to precise tolerances and be comfortable working on active construction sites around heavy equipment.Candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, able to follow the direction of a foreman, and willing to travel primarily throughout the state of Louisiana.ResponsibilitiesForm, pour, and finish concrete flatwork to specified tolerancesPour and finish concrete wallsSet and maintain stringlines for proper grade and alignmentBuild, set, strip, and wreck concrete formsPerform pointing, patching, and concrete repair workEnsure finished concrete meets required specifications and quality standardsWork safely around pavers, concrete trucks, dump trucks, and other heavy equipmentFollow instructions and specifications provided by the foremanMaintain a clean and safe work areaAssist with other concrete and construction duties as neededQualificationsPrevious experience in commercial or industrial concrete workStrong knowledge of forming, pouring, and finishing concreteExperience finishing flatwork and concrete wallsAbility to perform accurate point and patch workAbility to work outdoors and perform physically demanding construction workComfortable working around heavy equipment and active construction sitesDependable transportation and reliable attendanceMust be willing and able to travel, primarily within LouisianaAbility to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a crewStrong attention to detail, particularly when working to precise tolerancesWays to apply: (choose one)Via our website: expresspros.com/dtbatonrougela.
