With a commitment to innovation and quality, we utilize cutting-edge technology and advanced manufacturing processes to deliver superior products to our global clientele.Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time Centerless Grinder to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating and setting up automatic centerless grinders, with a strong focus on precision and quality control. This position plays a crucial role in our production process, ensuring that our aerospace components meet the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain automatic centerless grinding machines to produce high-precision aerospace componentsPerform complex set-ups on centerless grinders, including wheel dressing, work rest blade adjustments, and regulating wheel speed controlRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accurate production of partsMonitor grinding processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance and qualityConduct in-process inspections and measurements using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gaugesTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to grinding operations, equipment malfunctions, or quality deviationsMaintain detailed records of production activities, including set-up parameters, inspection results, and machine maintenanceCollaborate with quality control personnel to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specificationsImplement and adhere to safety protocols and procedures in the work areaParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance grinding processes and overall efficiencyTrain and mentor junior operators on centerless grinding techniques and best practicesMaintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper care and storage of tools and equipmentQualifications and RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification in machining or related field preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in centerless grinding, preferably in aerospace or precision manufacturing industriesProficiency in operating and setting up automatic centerless grindersStrong knowledge of grinding wheel composition, dressing techniques, and coolant managementAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and complex work instructionsExperience with precision measuring instruments and quality control proceduresExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and teamwork abilities
