nThe Solution Manager is responsible for defining, designing, and delivering end-to-end business and technology solutions that meet customer, operational, and strategic objectives. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, technology teams, and external partners to ensure solutions are aligned with organizational goals, provide measurable value, and can be implemented effectively.
nThe Solution Manager leads solution development from concept through implementation, managing requirements, stakeholder alignment, business cases, and execution planning while balancing customer needs, business priorities, and technical constraints.
nKey Responsibilities
nSolution Strategy & Planning
nnnIdentify business opportunities and translate them into scalable solution concepts.
n
nnDevelop solution roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy and objectives.
n
nnEvaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to inform solution design.
n
nnBuild business cases and value propositions for proposed solutions.
n
n nRequirements & Solution Design
nnnGather and document business, operational, and technical requirements.
n
nnFacilitate workshops with stakeholders to define solution scope and success criteria.
n
nnCreate solution frameworks, process flows, and high-level architecture concepts.
n
nnEnsure solutions are feasible, scalable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards.
n
n nStakeholder Management
nnnServe as the primary liaison between business, product, technology, operations, and vendor teams.
n
nnDrive consensus among cross-functional stakeholders with competing priorities.
n
nnCommunicate solution strategy, progress, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
n
nnManage stakeholder expectations throughout the solution lifecycle.
n
n nDelivery & Implementation
nnPartner with Product Managers, Project Managers, Engineering, and Operations teams to implement solutions.
n nPerformance & Continuous Improvement
nnnEstablish KPIs and success metrics for delivered solutions.
n
nnMonitor performance and adoption after implementation.
n
nnIdentify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
n
nnDrive lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
n nSuccess Measures

nRequired Qualifications
nnn5+ years of experience in solution management, product management, or related disciplines.
n
nnExperience leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment.
n
nnStrong business process analysis and requirements gathering capabilities.
n
nnAbility to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
n
nnExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
n
nnExperience managing multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.
n
n nPreferred Qualifications
nnnExperience within healthcare, technology, financial services, or consulting industries.
n
nnKnowledge of Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
n
nnFamiliarity with enterprise architecture principles and system integrations.
n
nnExperience developing business cases and financial models.
n
nnRelevant certifications such as:
n
nnCertified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
n
nnSAFe Product Manager/Product Owner
n
nnPMP
n
nnLean Six Sigma
n
nnBusiness Analysis certifications (CBAP)
n
n nWork at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
nTravel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

nThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
n$126,300 - $173,700 per year
nThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
