Central Sterile Processing TechnicianNashville General Hospital is hiring a Central Sterile Processing Technician for full-time, Evening Shift- 2:30p-11:00p. The Sterile Processing Tech is primarily responsible for storing preparing, sterilizing, assembling and delivering supplies and equipment to designated area. As a Central Sterile Processing Tech, you will:Retrieve used equipment and instruments from patient areas; cleans properly and places in designated areasInventory Sterilization supplies and reports needed items to clerk for reorder in a timely mannerAssemble, wraps and labels all instruments/trays and prepares them for sterilizationVisually check all items before placing in sterilizer for package integrityUnload sterilizer after each completed load and prepares them for delivery or places in proper storage in CSRequired Skills & Qualifications:CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) or CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)BLS RequiredAbout Nashville General Hospital Nashville General Hospital (NGH) is Nashville's original community-based hospital.
