Central Sterile Processing TechThe Central Sterile Processing Tech is responsible for decontaminating, assembly and sterilization process for all instruments, procedure trays and patient care equipment for the organization; operations of all processing equipment; inventorying and sterilizing linen items needed for the organization and sterile technique.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent, along with completion of a Central Sterile Processing program preferred.At least two years' experience in a Central Service Department, Surgery or equivalent preferred.Must have a general knowledge of surgical instruments, supplies and decontamination and sterilization techniques.Good organizational skills.Must be able to stand for long period of time; required to do some walking and lifting (17 to 25 pounds.)Must be able to work rotating shift work.
