Central Supply TechnicianJoin a vital behind-the-scenes team that keeps patient care running safely and efficiently every day. As a Central Supply Technician, you play an essential role in ensuring that medical equipment and supplies are properly cleaned, sterilized, assembled, and delivered throughout the hospital.This position works under the supervision of the CSP Manager and supports multiple departments by making sure they have what they need—when they need it. It's a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in precision, and enjoys being part of a collaborative healthcare team.We value team members who are dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to take on a variety of responsibilities in a dynamic setting. You'll also have opportunities to learn, grow, and develop your skills within a supportive department that values teamwork and continuous improvement.You'll be responsible for a variety of essential tasks that directly support patient care and hospital operations, including:Cleaning, disinfecting, and reassembling medical equipment such as suction machines, IV pumps, wheelchairs, walkers, and commodes using approved cleaning agents and proceduresTesting equipment for proper function and replacing damaged or missing parts using available inventoryCompleting required documentation and ensuring inoperable equipment is properly routed for repairBagging, tagging, and labeling cleaned equipment to maintain safety and compliance standardsDelivering supplies and equipment to requesting departments and preparing surgical (OR) case carts as neededRestocking supply areas and maintaining organized inventory levelsChecking expiration dates and verifying integrity of sterile supplies and packaging indicatorsResponding to phone calls from departments and assisting with supply or equipment needsMaintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in all assigned areasSupporting onboarding and training of new team members within the departmentRequired:High School Diploma or GEDPreferred (Not Required):Experience in a fast-paced environmentBackground in supply chain, shipping/receiving, logistics, or healthcare support rolesWhy Join Us:Be part of a team that directly supports patient care across the hospitalWork in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where no two days are exactly the sameGain valuable experience in healthcare operations and sterile processingOpportunities to learn, grow, and develop within the departmentSupportive team culture focused on reliability, respect, and continuous improvementEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
