JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a highly differentiated, private equity-backed engineering and manufacturing company that has developed a patented, market-leading product that serves multiple end markets. We are looking for a proven CEO to help co-create a value creation plan and lead the business through its next chapter of commercial expansion.
Recruiting Resources, Corporate Development, Private Equity (Portfolio Operations) Direct-to-CEO reporting
In 2021, over 75% of our Head of Corporate Development searches had the position reporting directly to the CEO of the portfolio company. This is up from roughly 50% in 2020 and 33% in 2019.
A sharpened demand for strategic product sourcing has led to a more defined procurement role within supply chain functions.
The industrial manufacturing deal volume saw a downward trend for the first five months of 2023, but this could be changing.
