Job OpportunityWork Location: San Luis Obispo, CA, USAOnsite Fully On-Site Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pmSalary Range: $36.17 - 45.86 Hourly Employment Type 2 - Staff: Career Duration Indefinite Job # 33074Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesJob QualificationsRequired:Proficiency in venipuncture, skin puncture, and pediatric draws.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in high-volume settings.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.Ability to lift or carry up to 30 lbs of supplies or equipment.Manual dexterity to operate lab equipment and perform blood draws safely.Ability to travel between UCLA Health community oncology practice sites as needed.Skill in performing with frequent interruptions and/or distractions including the ability to respond to changing priorities and deadlines.Preferred:Understanding of oncology patient needs, including infection prevention for immunocompromised individuals.Familiarity with research specimen handling and documentation.
